It wandered through the back of a boy's house for days before being discovered. And with that discovery, a friendship unfolded. At age 6, young Theo knew hardly more than how to relate funny symbols on paper to the picture and then to sounds made by those symbols, and it was only because his parents read to him nightly that he learnt this.
